Alexey Fedotov started out as a chef's helper when
he was 14 years old. After two years in that position, he enrolled into a prestigious culinary academy in Moscow to study European and Japanese cuisine.
He then took up an apprenticeship at the
Cosmos four-star hotel and eventually
became the executive sous chef.
He was trained by well-known executive chef to the Italian government Bruno Marino, well-known
German chef Andrew Mullen and executive chef
Mario Canty, who taught how to prepare food
and platters for banquets and catering Over the
last three years, Mr. Fedotov held sous chef
positions at prestigious restaurants and catering companies throughout Maryland.
He has extensive knowledge of Italian, Japanese, German, Russian and other European cuisines.
He is also skilled in dietetic and vegetarian
dishes and desserts.
His cooking philosophy is that healthy food makes healthy mind and body, and he constantly invents recipes that follow that notion.
